7 mm Prusiksnor
Prusik cord is used in the climbing world as a back-up security when rappelling / abseiling. The prusik cord is tied around the climbing rope with a special knot, so that if you lose the hold of the rope, then the prusik cord grabs hold of it and catches you. A rule of thumb is that the diameter of the prusik string must be about half the size of the climbing rope itself in order for it to grab it in the correct way. If you want a prusik that binds easily, you can choose a slightly thinner cord. If would like to slide better you can choose a thicker one.
