4 mm Prusiksnor

Strong, thin, static nylon rope with a diameter of 4 mm. In relation with abseiling or rapelling, the prusik cord is used to secure the person to the climbing rope itself. With a special safety knot, the climber attaches to the climbing rope, in the event that the climber loses the grip of the rope, the prusic cord catches him. As a rule of thumb, choose a prusik cord with a diameter that is half the size of the climbing rope. 4mm will in most cases often be too thin to use for a prusik knot but the cord is super for organizing your other stuff in. It could be nuts, friends, hexes, slings or something else.
