Lory Belay Device
Lory is a robust multifunctional device for use in sports climbing. Lory can also be used as a assisting belay device and rapelle device for sport climbing.
Inhibited jaw rotation helps give the climber rope. In the open position, the belay device can give rope to the climber without Lory being locked immediately. In the event of a fall, the load will cause the jaw to move out of position and stop the climber from falling. Thus, when you pull on the loaded end of the rope, the jaw will grab the rope and wedge it. Pulling the handle down will gradually allow the rope to go through the LORY again. If the handle is pulled fully down (in panic), the double stop function is triggered and the rope is blocked again. To continue giving rope, place the handle back in the closed position and restart the process.
LORY available in two versions:
- LORY PRO with unobstructed jaw movement (for industrial use)
- LORY with hindered movement of the jaw (for sports use)
