Climbing wall including 32 climbing holds in different colours
This climbing wall is approximately 4 sqm and consists of 4 catheter plate modules, each measuring 1245 x 830 x 15 mm corresponding to approximately 1 square meter per plate. There are knocked bushes / impact nuts in the plates, so that the climbing grips are easy to clamp. There are 30 ice bushings per square meter, which provides optimal opportunities for scouring climbing routes with varying degrees of difficulty.
The climbing boards are made of water-resistant birch plywood with impact-resistant friction surface (quartz sand surface for better friction). The climbing boards are painted on all sides and can be used indoors.
The climbing wall includes these climbing holds:
16 pcs. Small climbing holds for children (medium size jugs climbing holds)
16 pcs. Large climbing holds for children (large size jugs climbing holds)
Also included are bolts for mounting all of the climbing holds.
As there may be differences in how the climbing boards should be mounted, depending on whether it is on a brick wall, a wooden wall, a concrete wall or a drywall, screws are not included for setting up the climbing boards.
Impact and safety:
Climbing facilities in public places must comply with the playground regulations for safety and fall grounds. There is no requirement in private homes. The following are therefore just our recommendations for you who want to build a climbing wall at home.
- Do not build a climbing wall taller than 2.5 meters.
- Make sure there is no radiator or furniture standing right next to the climbing wall.
- Always have a mattress lying under the climbing wall that the kids can jump down and land softly on.
At Gubbies, we make tailor-made special solutions for fall surfaces for climbing gyms. Call us or write to us if you are interested in hearing more about the solutions we can offer. Our Crash Pads can also be a good solution for fall surfaces under smaller climbing walls.
